Prachesta is a youth organization, founded on May 3rd, 2014, which focuses on the capacity building of young people through formal and non-formal education and political empowerment.
The primary objective is to build upon skills of youth and children with diverse interest and background, with an aim to harness the energy of youth into positive social change. The goal of the organization is to make duty bearers accountable towards equitable education. The organization focuses in the thematic area of formal and non-formal education, livelihood and nutrition and policy-level advocacy. Prachesta believes formal education is the foundation to social conscientization. Alternative to the social problem is possible through sheer conviction and creativity. Therefore, different dimensions of education need to be addressed to achieve a holistic development.
